Soupy Topokki
Soupy Topokki
Topokki is one of Korea’s most beloved street foods, featuring fluffy rice cakes in a spicy and savory gochujang sauce. Enjoy it on its own or enhance it with boiled eggs, ramen noodles, or fish cakes to enjoy it the authentic Korean way.
Rice Cake
Rinse the rice cakes in cold water.
In a saucepan, add 180 ml (about 3/4 cup) of water, rice cakes, Sweet & Spicy Sauce, and dried vegetable toppings.
Boil for 4 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pan, until the rice cakes become soft.
Place them in a bowl and enjoy!
*Add toppings of your choice, such as Pulmuone noodles, fish cakes, boiled eggs, or vegetables.
