How to prepare
Ingredients
- 1 Package of Pulmuone Dumplings
- 1/3 cup water
- 1 tsp of all purpose flour
- 1 1/3 tsp cornstarch
- 1 pinch salt
- Vegetable OilÂ
Directions
- Heat oil in the pan over medium-high heat, ensuring it coats the surface evenly. Arrange the dumplings in your preferred presentation, such as a star shape.
- Cook dumplings based on packaging pan-fry directions.
- Combine water, flour, cornstarch, and salt, then carefully pour the mixture onto the dumplings, aiming for an even distribution. Exercise caution as the oil may splatter.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pan with a lid, and allow the mixture to cook for an additional 6 to 8 minutes or until the water has evaporated.
- Remove the lid and swivel the pan to ensure the lace crisps evenly. Once the lace achieves a golden hue, turn off the heat. If necessary, carefully drain any excess oil and place a plate over the dumplings. While holding the plate, use your other hand to flip the pan, transferring the crispy dumplings onto the plate, with the skirt side facing up.
